Happy Birthday Waypoints Plymouth!

Children from Plaistow Hill Infant School led the singing of 'Happy Birthday' when Waypoints dementia care home in Plymouth celebrated its one year anniversary.

Residents and staff were delightd by the children singing hymns at the festive event to mark a successful first year since the home was officially opened by Alzheimers' Society ambassador Angela Rippon OBE. Waypoints Managing Director Andrew Baxendine thanked valued city partners for their support including Plymouth City Council, local health commissioners, the University of Plymouth and Stoke Damerel Community College. Mr Baxendine added; "What makes this a vibrant happy place is the laughter and friendship between the residents, their families and our staff. We are delighted that so many local community groups and organisations share our aspiration to improve understanding of dementia and provide the best possible care."
