Waypoints Director Carl Bradley discussing innovation in care with conference delegates.

At the heart of Plymouth dementia
care innovation

Waypoints had a high profile presence at the annual Plymouth Dementia Conference – strengthening existing partnerships in the city and fostering new links.

About 250 delegates attended the full day conference on 31st January which celebrated what has been achieved to date in the city through innovation and collaboration.

Waypoints was an exhibitor at the high profile event and took part in the live BBC Radio Devon coverage.

Operations Director Carl Bradley, said: “It was very apparent that in just over a year, since we opened our care home in Ernesettle, we have placed Waypoints at the very heart of the fantastic work being done in the city to raise awareness about dementia and support research in this field. Our new advice sheets on common issues and concerns before, during and after diagnosis of dementia were very popular with visitors to our information stand. We met like-minded people and look forward to working with them on new opportunities in education, professional training and the voluntary sector.”
