Pupils from Ernesettle Community School in Plymouth visit Waypoints Plymouth

Waypoints Plymouth Links up with Local School

Pupils from Ernesettle Community School in Plymouth came to visit Waypoints Plymouth as part of their ’10 acts of kindness’ project recently, bringing in with them their beautiful paintings of Plymouth and stories, which they showed and read to residents. It was such a big success that the school decided to get involved with Waypoints Plymouth’s charity fundraising as part of World Alzheimer’s Month. Year 6 pupils made and decorated buns at school, which they then sold for 20p each during their break time. The local newspaper The Plymouth Herald even covered the story including a photo of the pupils presenting their £25 proceeds to Waypoints Plymouth.

Thank you to Ernesettle Community School for coming to Waypoints Plymouth – the residents and staff are always over the moon to see the pupils! Thanks also to everyone who donated to Waypoints World Alzheimer’s Month tea parties – it really is appreciated.
