Race for life - Sarah does it again!!!

In July Sarah Laskey-Seabrook ran the race for life for the 4th year. She raised a fantastic £500 for Cancer Research. Sarah is a popular Lifestyle Assistant within Waypoints so when she started to look for sponsors to reach her original target of £100, she soon realised she had us all supporting her as so many of us are touched by cancer. Sarah is already planning for next year and we will have a ‘Waypoints Pink Ladies Team’ Sarah’s race time was an impressive 32 minutes so we all need to get fit in time for the 2013 race. Sarah’s special thanks goes to the training coaches: LSA Rachel Edwards supplied freshly laid low fat protein eggs from the family’s chickens. Kitchen Assistant Sue Prince baked the low fat fruit filled energy cake. LSA Janet Whitmill supplied the Double Decker chocolate energy bars. wearing her number 213 on her back which proudly told the world she was doing it because of losing her mother in law. Sarah set out with a £100 target, but we all got behind her and we are very proud of Sarah.
