“The overall quality of the building and accommodation is absolutely first class”

Savills Commercial

Waypoints opens its doors

Since opening at the end of October, Waypoints has been playing host to a steady stream of visitors, all eager to see what's been developing at Verwood. The interest is growing among families of possible future residents, who have come along to take a look at the services on offer and chat to the staff (and the new Waypoints pets!) Carl Bradley, the Home Manager, is thrilled with the number of people coming to call -around seventy since Waypoints first opened its doors.

The home's reputation is also attracting notice in other quarters. Craig Woollam, Head of Healthcare at Savills Commercial, came to look at Waypoints not long after the launch and was impressed by what he saw. "I loved the space, decor, light and innovative design features," he told us. "The overall quality of the building and accommodation is absolutely first class and you can really see that a huge amount of thought has gone into both the internal design and the outside space."

The arrival of the first residents at the home has brought more people through the doors, and the directors and staff are anticipating a steady uptake over the coming months. "We are delighted to have received our first residents to Waypoints. They are settling in really well and enjoying the sense of independence, freedom and familiarity that Waypoints offers. Staff support our residents as they live their daily lives, whilst maintaining their dignity and respect, all of which affords our residents to feel valued for who they are. We believe that with the social and leisure activities we provide for our residents they can enjoy a full and happy life at Waypoints."

With a real buzz starting to grow, the positive feedback is so encouraging for everyone who has been working to make the standards at Waypoints the highest possible. If you want to see for yourself the standard of care on offer at Waypoints, please give us a call on 01202 812250.
